Russ Riendeau, PhD, continues to explore boundaries in the creative arts and literature world, creating curious works of all kinds, along with his on-going research in behavioral science and the creative process. Much of his inspiration is drawn from growing up in the Chicago suburbs in the late 1960s, as a parent, spouse, entrepreneur, as well as adventures to Iceland, Rome, Quebec, Mexico, and travels across America. With over 100 abstract paintings, mixed media works, public and private sculpture installations and over 1000 illustrations, Russ is also the creator of the Rusty & Pogo™ comic panel series.
A TEDx Talks presenter, he’s authored/co-authored 12 books on innovation, poetry, leadership, talent acquisition, adventure stories for business, sales psychology and humor that have influenced the lives of 100s of 1000s of people. With over 500 articles, his ideas, poems and art have been featured in: The Wall Street Journal, Hearing Health Magazine, CEO/CIO Magazine, Shaw Media, Medium, Air America Radio, Monitor on Psychology, and American Psychologist.
As a composer and multi-instrumentalist, he recorded 7 albums of rock, new age, folk, country and contemporary music sold internationally. A member of the Academy of American Poets, American Psychological Association and Archaeological Institute of America, Dr. Riendeau is a behavioral scientist with a doctorate in psychology, a Mayo Clinic trained Wellness Coach, and frequent keynote speaker on psychology- related topics for business innovation. Since 1985, he has been an executive search professional and founder of New Frontier Search Company. Russ has long held passions for motorcycles, running, aviation, and golf, for which he is now a certified Titleist Performance Institute Expert Coach Level 1. Russ lives with his wife, Cheryl, in St. Charles, IL.
